The Sack of Carthage was composed in 1981 and is dedicated to Meyer Kupferman. The music is scored for Flute, Oboe and Clarinet.

Saint Teresa in the Eye of the Storm is scored for Clarinet, Horn, and Bassoon.

Gorilla gorilla gorilla: The western lowland Gorilla found from Cameroon to the Congo River. Cultists will quickly perceive that the music is an homage to a score by Max Steiner. The movement is scored for full woodwind quintet. There is no pause between the second and third movements.
